David Carradine Found Dead in his hotel Room
Oscar-nominated actor David Carradine was found dead in his Bangkok hotel room yesterday. He had been in the city shooting a movie when the film’s producer found Carradine. According to the BBC a hotel maid found him in a closet with a rope around his neck and body.
Carradine’s manager Chuck Binder tells Fox News his death is “shocking and sad. He was full of life, always wanting to work…a great person.”
David Carradine is best known for his leading role of Kwai Chang Caine on the 1970s series Kung Fu, and most recently his role in Kill Bill.
The AP reports a preliminary police investigation found that he had hanged himself with a cord used with the room's curtains. It cited police as saying he had been dead at least 12 hours and there was no sign that he had been assaulted.
