Spring Break Trip Day 1

Spring break. Gotta love that time of year. When People like to go out and get crazy drunk. But as you get old, its not the same anymore. Its becomes more of an adventure.

For this spring break we decided to head up north, San Francisco to be exact. First off it was a mission to get up there. We left last night around 10pm (scheduled time was 8pm) which is a pretty late start for most road trips.. The drive wasn't bad at all. Little rain here and there but nothing major. Like all Road trips there always those that fall asleep. But Its funny when they try to hide their faces. But when there awake, its all eyes and smiles.

For this leg of the trip I got to be the navigator. Being the navigator kinda sucks, especially since you have to stay awake to keep the driver from falling asleep. It does have its perks though, you get to sit shotgun. Another thing that sucks is for some reason I never get a say on music selection.

But Once they fall asleep, that's when I get to take over the music selection. Anything to keep me from falling asleep. Its kinda of nice doing night driving. Especially when it's raining and you go thru the patches where its not raining, where the sky opens up. Its like mesmerizing.

Once we got to where we were staying for the night. I thought it was going to be a well deserved good night's sleep. Boy was I wrong, especially for the fact that I forgot my inhaler. I seriously couldn't breath(2 shedding dogs and a cat). But I at least I wasn't the only feeling the effect. It seem like we weren't going to be sleeping that night. But as tired as we were, we simply knocked out from exhaustion. I found a nice table (where I laid myself out on top of), but ended up just finding a chair and putting my head down on the table. Others just fell asleep in the spot they first sat at.Once we got our well deserved 3 hours of sleep it was time to continue on our trip. Since we were still about 2 hours away from San Francisco it was time to get up and go. Running on 3 hours of sleep really sucks, you have to constantly find or do something to keep you awake, otherwise it's good night. Its kinda of funny what you have to do to stay awake. You literally start talking about anything and everything.

Finally we got to San Francisco, the time 1130, which wasn't that late. The day was still young. First thing we had to do was find a freaking hotel cause I really need to take a shower (no not cause I smelled, but because I can't live without taking a shower thank you very much) and brush my teeth and get some freaking sleep. After we checked in at the fabulous Holiday Inn. It was time to hit up Pier 39 for some awesome clam chowder.

Once we go there I just couldn't help but to take a picture of Alcatraz Island (for which we also bought tickets to take the tour Updates to be posted tomorrow). Got my clam chowder.. ohh how I miss thy. After that we pretty much called it a day. Were still kinda of tired, member running on 3 hours of sleep. But there is so much to do here. It's been ages since I was actually a tourist here. Now I can't wait til tomorrow.

Til the next update which should be done by tomorrow night. Til then have a good night, and don't drink and drive.

Premiere of Observe and Report

Last night I was able to get into the Premiere of Observe and Report. Which was pretty nice considering the fact that I actually did want to see this movie. Plus also being able to watch it with the stars wasn't bad either. All the cast was there. They were super nice to everyone. They even actually said yes when people asked for a picture and an autograph. I guess cause it's their premiere they kinda have to. But most of them are cool about it during other times too.

To get into the premiere was a whole other story. First I had to wait in a long line. But it was only for about 30 minutes. Met some nice people in line. Once they gave me my ticket I knew I was in. Once inside they searched me. First time for a premiere. When I looked at my ticket (which actually showed that I had an assigned seat) it said I was row 2. Which kinda was crappy seats. Concert Yes, Movie No.

All the Stars of the movie(Seth Rogen, Anna Farris, Ray Liotta) showed up, people scrambled to get a glimpse of them. But then they said it was finally time to start up the movie.

Once the movie started a course everyone started clapping. The movie wasn't that bad. I did laugh a lot. Mind you it is rated R. So that means lot of F bombs and some nudity.

After the movie everyone started leaving and some chilled in the lobby. I got meet a couple of the cast and let them know what I thought about the movie (but so did like 20 other people). It was cool though. I got my point across. I also noticed that some of the cast were posing for pictures with fans, which I thought was pretty cool

Well my next premiere is going to be 17 AGAIN.

Til then

thanks for reading.

Bravo A-List Awards

Last night I was unable to go to Bravo's A-List Awards. Reason is, I guess my watch is a little slow. So I didn't make it to the assign call time. I decided to chill outside and wait to see if they would let me in..

While waiting outside I saw some people leave. I saw Niecy Nash (Reno 911), Fred Willard (Wall-E, Anchorman, American Wedding), and Paris Hilton. Right after that I guess the show ended, because a crowd of people were leaving. As I was going to call it a night I somehow walked with some of the crowd towards waiting buses. These buses were talking people to the After party. A course I jumped in.

Got into the party which was ok. Not like the one's I'm used to. Lol. Chilled there for a while. Didn't really recognized anyone there. I thought I saw Paris Hilton again but with all these skinny models around got me all confused.

I heard from my friends that the show was good. Next I'll make sure to check my watch, that way I can for once be on time.

The End

Chateau Mormont the place to party when your in Hollywood

Apparently the Chateau Mormont is still the place where celebs can go and party in Hollywood. I was just cruising by when I noticed that some paps where chilling outside. So curiously I decided to park and head my way there and check it out.

First off I found a spot right in front. Second, it was free. Third, as soon I get out of my car who do I run into. Well Will Arnett (The Rocker, Solomon Brothers), I ask for his picture and he a coursesaid sure. But mind you it was the first picture of the night and for some reason my camera was in video mode. Aftetr that I head to where all the paps were at and asked who was there and had been there. They gave me names and I was like waaaahh!

Here's the names they told me had just left; Kim Kardashian, Paris Hilton, Rashida Jones, STING. and many more they could remember. But that there were still a lot of people left in there. So I decided to stick around.

People started leaving. First it was Shenea Grimes (I bet it was past her bed time) she bolted to her waiting car. Then came Tony Kanal from the band No Doubt. He was nice enough to take a picture with me. I helped him flag a cab down. After him came Milla Jovovich better know as the badass girl from all the Resident Evil movies. She was also nice enough to take a picture with me. Then Rachel Taylor (She plays the blond girl with the accent in Transformers) almost walked past me without saying hi, I got her to take a picture with me to make it up. Right after her was Nikki Hilton and her Entourage, they also bolted to her waiting car (which was kind of funny cause it had a handicap placard hanging from the rear view mirror). During all of that apparently a little known Mexican actress Kate Del Castillo (If you saw Under the Same Moon she plays the kids mom good movie go and rent it) was trying to get in but they Denied her!. Bastards.

A lot of people left, some were just regular Joe's like you and me but with better connections. I thought it was over when I hear one of the Paps starting yelling Matthew please sign. I look over and its Matthew Mcconaughey, but he never made it towards us. He ride was inside waiting for him. He got in and took off. With all that excitement I didn't even realize what time it was. It was almost 3. I decided to call it a night and head home.

Can't wait til my next adventure. For some reason they can never be dull.
Til the next one.

Twitter and the Ellen Show Part 2

Here is a video of what I missed by 5 minutes. BTW this was on Tuesday.

Twitter and the Ellen Show

So yesterday I woke up around 12pm and I decided to check my Twitter as always. When I noticed that Ellen (yea I know I follow her Tweets, Don't Judge me) Tweeted that she was going to be giving out tickets to her show to the first 6 people to show up at this bus stop wearing their favorite superhero costume. So acourse a look around my closet to see if I had anything that was good enough to be considered a superhero costume. Found a Superman Shirt, and a long sleeve shirt (to tie around my neck and make it seem like a cape). Off I drove off to the location.

Apparently I was the first one there. Sat near a sign that said "SUPERHEROES WAIT HERE" Atleast I knew I was at the right spot. 10 minutes go by and another guy shows up dressed as Dr Manhanttan. I didn't feel bad by being the only person there.

We sat around waiting when a rep for Ellen came up to us and took our pictures and told us we were getting tickets and to stick around to see if other would show up. Thats when I realized that I had to go to work at 5, but I called and said I was going to be a bit late. We pretty much sat out there for like more that 2 hours. A lady who apparently was following our tweets came down to give us some water. We got bored so we took a pic. As you can see we pretty much wore whatever we could find and ran with it.
Around 3 they finally take us into the WB lot (where Ellen is taped). We go thru the lot towards backstage wondering who we would see. We mee the stage managers who tell us that Ellen is going to introduce us to the show. We make our entrance which was awesome cause the whole audience was cheering and clapping for us. Thats what I call an EGO booster. They sat us in a special section next to the DJ. We were able to enjoy the show from there.
Other people finally decided to show up in costumes. There was a woman dressed as a contruction work Wonder Woman, 2 Hippie girls and Catwoman. It was fun, got a free Slumdog Millionaire DVD, Martina Bride CD (which I'm giving away), a shirt that reads "My Tweets are Real", and a free 12 month subscribtion to Nexflix. All in all it was a good day. Yet I still had to to to work and watch Fast and Furious.
That was my day. What Did you do?
BTW video coming soon.

Walking thru Hollywood

Last night I was a bit bored. So I decided to take a walk thru Hollywood. Hollywood and Highland to be precise. As I walked past the El Capitan theatre. I noticed that they were filming a segment for the Jimmy Kimmel Show. So I decided to be a looky loo and check it out. Was a pretty lame segment. Feeling tired of Hollywood. Which only took about 15 minutes I decided to walk back to my car, which was in the back part of the El Capital Theatre. As I was walking by I noticed that the recently dismissed dancer from Dancing with the Stars (Holly Madison and Steve Woziack) where signing autographs. Funny how they sign all these autographs to people who don't care about them. They only care about selling those autograph pictures. BTW thats my 2 cent's.

If your interested I just watched ADVENTURELAND, you know the movie with Kristen Stewart (bella from twilight)
Check out what I thought about it.
